I am Minyi, a Malaysian-Chinese, based in Malaysia. I am currently working as a Business Analyst with a skincare and beauty company. Previously, I was an Internal Auditor with one of the accounting big four. So I am guessing, you must be thinking, do you really enjoy food? The answer is a big fat YES! Which is why Eagerly Awaiting a Taste was born.
Here is where I pen my thoughts that are running through my head when I make, see, touch and eat FOOD. Living in Malaysia, we are spoilt with the varied food choices from different cuisines. I have lived in Melbourne for almost 2 years when I was studying. During this time, I learnt more about the food industry in terms of service. I worked part time in a Japanese restaurant as a server which a diner would pay about 100AUD per person. Paying that kind of money, you would expect food and service to be great. Service plays a big part in your whole food experience. That is one thing Malaysia lacks but is definitely improving.
If I have to pick my favourite meat, it would be beef and favourite cuisine, Japanese. So you’ve guessed it, I enjoy my plate of Kobe Beef very much.
